Welcome to CardOpz.com, a marketing website operated by CardOpz LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. By accessing or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Service"). Please read these terms carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use this website.

Scope of Terms

These Terms of Service apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use any of the following CardOpz properties:

• CardOpz.com - Our marketing and informational website
• CardOpz.app - Our business management platform for staff users
• Any subdomain of CardOpz.com - Including all client-specific portals (e.g., [clientname].cardopz.com)

For clients who have entered into a separate License Agreement for the CardOpz Platform, that agreement governs the commercial relationship, service levels, and platform-specific terms. However, these Terms of Service, including the SMS/Text Messaging Terms, apply to all properties listed above regardless of any License Agreement.

Personal Information

CardOpz LLC is a US business. We do not sell or share personal information. Anyone can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about them at privacy@cardopz.com, and we answer within 30 days. For player data we hold for a cardroom, we act on that room's instructions, so players should contact their room. The details are in our Privacy Policy.

Use of the Website

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this website. By using this website, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the website or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the website.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of CardOpz LLC or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this website without express written permission from CardOpz LLC.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CardOpz LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the website
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the website
• Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our website by any third party
• Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the website
• The defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party

SMS/Text Messaging Terms

Texts come from the CardOpz platform, not this website. Rooms send them to staff and players, and they cover:

• Waitlist and seat calls
• Tournament seating
• Sign-up links for the room's player app
• Security codes and one-time login links for staff and players

Texts are never marketing.

How people opt in

• Staff (cardopz.app): a manager adds the staff member's mobile number with their OK, and the staff member agrees to security texts when they claim their account. Each login request shows a notice before a text is sent.
• Players (the room's player app): players opt in at the room when they sign up, or when they first sign in to the player app online.
• Consent is recorded in the room's CardOpz system when a player or staff member opts in.

How often, and what it costs

• Staff: one text per login request.
• Players: it depends on activity, like how often you join a waitlist or play a tournament.
• Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

Stopping texts

• Opt-out: reply STOP to any text.
• Help: reply HELP, or email support@cardopz.com.
• Turn texts back on: contact your room or support@cardopz.com.

When you opt in

By giving your mobile number and opting in to texts:

• You confirm you are the authorized user of that number
• You agree to receive the texts listed above for your user type
• You understand your consent is recorded

Carriers and your number

Rooms send texts through Twilio. We follow carrier consent rules. Your phone number is never sold or shared for marketing. Questions about texts: support@cardopz.com or (619) 810-5633.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms of Service will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in San Diego, California, and the parties hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein.

Changes to Terms

We may change these Terms of Service. Changes are posted here with a new date. Material changes to customers are emailed 30 days before they take effect.
